How it began...

A relative was in hospital many miles away for a number of weeks. Due to the distance between us it wasn't always possible to visit on a regular basis. Whilst we sent flowers and cards, we wanted to send something else to let her know we were thinking about her.

Magazines were my initial thought - something you can pick up and put down as you please, not too expensive and they last longer than flowers. It is from this point that the business idea started to evolve.

There have since been other occasions when I have wanted to send more than just a card but not wanted to spend too much money. So I started sending friends magazines for various occasions - moving house, starting maternity leave, to say thank you, as a get well gift to a friend in hospital to name but a few. All my friends and family loved receiving the magazines and in turn their positive feedback gave me the confidence to start the business.

I've tried to start off with a good selection of magazines and I hope over time this will in increase but I am confident whoever you decide to send a magazine to (or maybe a few to) they will enjoy receiving the magazines through the post.
